The SD-26 solar diode can be used as a scalable solar cell input array to protect solar cells from forward biasing under shadows. This protects your solar cells from irreversible damage and extends the life of the solar cell systems. In addition the solar diode has 1/10 the insertion loss compared to leading Schottky technology so that the device consumes very little overhead of the solar system losses.
